Architectural Model Building 101- Week six, continued

Step fifty-three:
The tree-making marathon continues well into the night. Bend and twist plastic-coated metal tree forms into appropriate shapes and apply green lichen to branches for Magnolias.

Step fifty-four:
The next day, consult the "big bad book" to see which species of Magnolia flower in April/May(which will be the seasonal setting for the model). Compare to CAD drawings for placement along the "Magnolia Walk."

Step fifty-five:
Start placement of pines and existing ash trees. Run out of Ambroid glue AGAIN. Wait, there's another tube in the bottom of the toolbox. We don't have to go to Mitchell's till tomorrow then. Yeah.
  Step fifty-six:
Mark CAD print out with color-coded placement of various ornamental trees along the Magnolia Walk. The Magnolia Walk is designed so that when one species finishes blooming, another begins. Pretty cool.

Step fifty-seven:
Begin placement of shorter trees first. The red ones are Japanese Maples.
  Step fifty-eight:
Apply dots of glue to magnolias which will be flowering at the appropriate time, and dust with pink and white foam powder. Shake off excess, and place according to CAD drawing.

Step fifty-nine:
Admire the view from Wood road. Maybe the neighbors will be happy now, ya think?

Step sixty:
After five straight days of non-stop model-building-marathon, swear you'll never do one of these @!!&#! things again. Week seven, coming up.
