Architectural Model Building 101- Week six, continued

Step forty-seven:
Continue work on 38 wing. Place roof panels and cornice mouldings. " WHAT smeared window? There's going to be a TREE in front of it." Yep, trees are our friends.

Step forty-eight:
Cut roof panels and monitor windows for the west (yeah that's the west) wing. Cut another set when they don't quite fit. Ok, cut ANOTHER set. Third time's the charm. Perfecto! Glue that puppy down before it gets away.

Step forty-nine:
Decide it would be best NOT to glue the roof down until we test the specially designed, high-tech lighting system.
  Step forty-nine-b:
Stash light string under the base, turn off overhead lights. Yippee, it works.

Step fifty:
Apply super-glue and press roof in place. Apply more super-glue and hold roof down longer. Apply super-glue yet again, drink beer with free hand and read short novel while waiting for super-glue to dry.
  Step fifty-b:
Stand back and admire the view. Wow. That's the offices and the education studios there.

Step fifty-one:
Print out the proposed Chihuly glass installation on clear plastic. Place between glass doors on north side (yep, that's the back) of the building before gluing roof down. Clever, eh?

Step fifty-two:
Call it a day. Grab the "big bad book" (the thing weighs 20 lbs and yes I weighed it), go home and make ornamental trees according to species listed on the CAD drawings.
