Architectural Model Building 101- Week six

Step forty:
Ponder the coarse green foam. Is it too coarse for the ivy and woodland scatter under the trees? Nah, besides, it would mean a trip to Mitchells to get stuff we don't have. Glue foam to all wooded areas.

Step forty-one:
Stand back and decide you should have made that trip to Mitchells. The stuff is just too big. It looks awful. Throw tantrum. Rip it all out, go to Mitchells and buy appropriate size foam. Mix it with a little peat moss, and reapply.

Step forty-two:
Spray decorative reservoir fence black. Cut carefully from etched metal sheet. Thank the powers that be that there's enough extra to replace the ones you messed up when cutting them.
  Step forty-two-b:
Glue in place around reservoir, cover with vines and bushes around base.

Step forty-three:
Rejoice that there is still one more tube of Ambroid glue left (we've gone through seven of them already). Fill syringe and dot glue in pattern to indicate grass pavers around back of west wing.
  Step forty-four:
Using specially designed, hi-tech canister shaker device, dispense lawn foam mixture over glue dots. (Grass pavers are concrete blocks with holes in them where the grass can grow up through it. It will eventually fill in and look like lawn, but will be solid enough to drive heavy machinery over without making ruts in the grass.)

Step forty-five:
Cut annoying (because it sticks to everything but what it's supposed to) little strips of white tape and place to indicate parking lines. Press down with end of steel ruler
  Step forty-six:
Trim parking lines to specified length. Park mini-van in the space with the crooked line so it's less noticeable.
