God or Goddess, muse or demon, mythical representations of the enigmatic White Horse are many. He is a symbol of light, life and spiritual illumination, and also a conveyor of death, destruction and judgement. To me, he has always been inspiration from the Gods, and the bearer of dreams.
A beloved book given to me by my great aunt, Margaret Cabell Self's "Treasury
of Horse Stories" still sits on my shelf. The single color page illustrating
the Greek myth of Pegasus is dog-eared and frayed from my many return trips to fly along with him as a child, and it remains a source of inspiration to this day.
Come. Ride the White Horse with me.
