  Vespa

Vespa illustrates that age-old struggle we biker girls have faced since the world got up on two wheels: HELMET HAIR!

She's spent a long day bargain hunting and loading her 1978 Vespa scooter with treasures from Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Versace, Ralph Lauren, and Hermes.

Her stylish outfit of green suede, black leather and leopard print fabric remains un-rumpled, but her handmade helmet has squashed her pale blonde viscose curls on top. From the look in her inset blue faux glass eyes, she's not happy about it!

Vespa is a featured workshop at the April 2009 Chicago International Miniatures Show,

She will be available for sale after the show workshop for $495.

All my figures are individually hand-sculpted in 1:12 scale from polymer clay. They are lovingly painted using Genesis heat set oils, costumed in the finest fabrics and wigged with English Viscose or Tibetan lamb hair. No commercial molds are used—each is a one-of-a-kind creation. Interested buyers may purchase directly online, or contact me at mare@whitehorsestudio.com. Commissions accepted.
