  Ride the White Horse

The ancient horse goddess, from whom I often draw inspiration, is known by many names. But it was the Greek story of Pegasus that first served as my muse.

A library discard given to me by my aunt Cora, Margaret Cabell Self's "Treasury of Horse Stories" still sits on my shelf. The single color page illustrating the story of the winged horse Pegasus is dog-eared and frayed, but always ready for a little inspiration when the creative font is dry. My creative leanings have soared and plunged in many directions--much like Bellerophon's first ride on that mythical white beast.

I may never get everthing done that I set out to in this life. But there's always the next one.

Such is the ride on the White Horse.
